Got fiber skills to share? We'd love to have you bring your magic to the DFW Fiber Fest community!
We're hunting for talented instructors in knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, dyeing, and beyond.
We get a ton of amazing proposals (which we love!), so help us keep things organized by following these quick guidelines.

Class Proposal Guidelines

Keep It Together: Submitting multiple classes? Fantastic! Please bundle them all into a single PDF or Word (.docx) file.
Show Us Online: If your classes are already live on your website, just drop the link directly into the application form.

Give us the Details:
  • Class title: Please provide a short and clear description of your class.
  • Craft: Crochet, Knit, Spin, Weave, Dye, Other
  • Class Capacity: Minimum 5, Max 25
  • Duration: 2 hours, 3 hours, 6 hours or 12 hours Workshop Adventure
  • Skill level:
    • Introductory: Perfect for folks brand new to the craft.
    • Beginner: For those who know the basics and can fly with minimal guidance.
    • Intermediate/Advanced: For those who know ALOT but don't brag about it.
  • Prerequisites: Any specific skills or know-how students should have before jumping in to class
  • Description of the class: A fun, clear snapshot of what students will learn and create.
  • Student Materials: What they need to pack in their project bags.
  • Materials Fee: A dollar amount for the materials you will provide to the students.
  • Materials Provided by Instructor with Fee: If you plan to provide any materials for a fee, please specify.
  • Special Considerations: Any extra needs? (Think water access, special equipment, or accessibility requirements)
  • Class Photos: Pop one or two great representative pictures right inside your document!

These details help us review every submission fairly, pick a stellar lineup, and build the perfect schedule.
