We truly rely on our volunteers every year to help DFW Fiber Fest run smoothly—and we could not do it without you!
Remember for each day you volunteer, you will receive:

- 🎁 A chance to win a volunteer door prize for every shift you work
- 🎉 A special perk for Sunday evening volunteers
- ✅ The option to select your shift and job when you sign up (or receive your assignment upon arrival)
🌟Wednesday Volunteers - Let the Fun Begin!🌟
This is your chance to get creative, jump right in, and make a big impact before the festival even opens! We have two awesome teams to choose from:

- 🎁Bag Stuffing Brigade
Help assemble our student bags by packing them full of fun goodies from our amazing vendors and sponsors. This is high‑energy, hands‑on, and a great way to kick things off together! - 🎨Yarn Bombing Crew
Unleash your artistic side! Help transform the Irving Convention Center into a Fiber Wonderland by installing our yarn art throughout the space. If you love creativity and color, this one is for you!

Each day offers a variety of roles—pick what excites you most!
- 🔐Keeping Things Secure
Check wristbands at the Market to ensure smooth, safe entry for everyone. - 🛍️Vendor Support
Be a friendly face in the Market! Walk the floor, answer attendee questions, and give vendors a chance to step away for short breaks. - 💰Financial Whiz
Assist with money handling for merchandise sales and Market pass purchases. Organization lovers shine here! - 📝Registration Assistant
Welcome attendees as they check in and pick up their student bags—first impressions matter, and you’ll help set the tone! - 🧳Luggage Locker
Run bag and wheel check and keep everyone’s belongings secure and organized. - 🤝Boardmember Buddy
Work side‑by‑side with DFW Fiber Fest Board members, helping with a variety of tasks throughout the day. Every shift is a little different!
🧹 Sunday Evening: Wrap‑Up Crew (With a Perk!)
Help us close out the festival strong—and earn a special thank you!
- Assist vendors with breaking down their Market booths
- Working alongside our board members to dismantle decorations and pack up supplies.
- Volunteers on this shift will lift boxes and use dollies
- 🎉Bonus: Sunday evening volunteers receive early access to registration next year!
